To meet the huge demand for junior level accountants in India, ICAI has introduced a short term Course called Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). Those students who’ve passed +2 examinations can join the CAT course. This course is equivalent to CMA foundation course and students who’ve completed CAT can directly apply for the CMA intermediate course. The Students who have passed 12th (10+2) examination are eligible to take admission in Foundation (Entry level) Part-I of CAT Course.
Students have to go through 3 levels for the completion of CAT course.
Students have to study four papers in the foundation course. The examinations will be conducted online and there are no negative marks.
